Default Re: Deck skin slight delamination

Bill,

I know the balsa is solid because I have stepped on it ( alot !) and have felt no 'give' at all. I "believe" that the balsa is not wet because the delam is in an area of the floor where:

a) all else is solid, and the delam'd area is so small
b) there is no clear way for water to even get to the area
c) although not religious, I have prayed...

And the boat has been stored heated, indoors for over 4-5 months.

It was not clear w/ your directions how to use the sticky masking paper. What is that stuff ? How and when would you use it ?

And, I was hoping that I could use the epoxy, dimple it then fill w/ gelcoat. Good !

Thx.
