Chuck,
No problem, that's what this board is for . Good idea moving to a new thread as I didn't want to take away from John's ad. I keep my boat on the Hull side of the Weir River, just past the anchorage area at World's End. Look for the #11 green can and my boat is right next to it - 23' Seabird CC named "Off the Hook". The name isn't on the boat though, so give me a shout sometime on VHF 69. What kind of boat do you have now? Glad I could be of help, and I hope Peter's boat works out for you. |

My boat? Haha, don't laugh - it's a 1960 MFG Seaway 19' that someone chopped the runabout bow out of and threw in a small center console... quite possibly one of the ugliest boats you'll ever see. But, it gets me out there.
It needs a lot of work, and I've come to the point where I've decided that if I'm going to dump what little money I have into a restoration, it should be on a quality hull. Therefore, here I am! If I'm out in your area, I'll probably be in my brother's boat - a 24' Robalo cuddy called "Da Bote" out of Landfall Marina - I'll be the pale skinny guy flyfishing off the bow... Thanks again, I'll keep you posted...

Chuckster,
Hey, at least you've got something that gets you out on the water. The name of your brother's boat sounds familiar, but that's probably because there is a 23' or 25' Robalo CC in the area named "Das Boot". My father keeps his SeaCraft at Hewitt's Cove, right next door to Landfall. |
