Ha Nemo
When I re did my boat I went from a 100 to a 120 gal tank with a single 225 on the back that gives me a range of approx 250 miles which I thought was more than ample range for a 23’. If you have one motor your boat has a range close to 300 miles as it is. I can’t see any advantages to adding more gas. I would be more concerned about adding more weight up front a extra 20 gal will add a extra 170 lbs up front which could change the performance of the boat more than you would like. I would think of a deck locker in that space to store some extra stuff in stead. “just my opinion”

Hello Fellow-Ship:

Thanks for the reply;it is also nice to get a sense of range. We will have a single 250 HPDI replacing twin 200 merc's. We figured with the loss of one engine we could add a few more gallons. We will outfit the new tank for a twin hookup for when the bracket gets added down the line
