Default 1969 Potter

Restored SeaCraft Potter hull, beautiful boat with Imron paint, glassed in console w/Momo steering wheel, T-top, leaning post, enclosed transom with bracket and 225 merc, trim tabs, spray rails, rocket launchers on both top and leaning post, garmin gps, garmin fishfinder, vhf with distress signal button, CD player w/clarion speakers, aluminum trlr with spare tire.

I believe the motor is from the late 1980's. What are the thoughts on an acceptable price? It is supposedly "completely re-done", having a new transfom and floor. I have seen a pic and it appears to be a beautiful boat that is thoroughly clean.

juris - Merc made a 220 in the late 80's and a 225 in 80 - 81. I don't think they made the 225 again until 1994.

If you have the externally mounted Trim and Tilt pump then you have a 1980 or 1981 225 blackmax. Check the compression and lowerunit for milky gear oil (standard stuff). . . also the coils, wiring, etc.

If you have a chance post a few pictures.
