what about the yamaha 130 2-stroke? It's only 367 pounds and it's fuel efficent for a 2 stroke. I don't think it's available anymore in 2004, but I've seen leftover models advertised for around $5500 - $6000. Probably won't have the resale value of the 140 suzuki or honda . . . but who cares if you are planning on keeping the boat for 10 more years.

Maybe Hammer or someone else can post some stats. Just looking at the 130's performance bullitens on yamaha's site for similar size/weight boats . . . . seems like it might be a decent pick.

my 20'CC had the Yami 130 on it before the refit and that engine could really push that boat right along [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
