I just placed a Yamaha 150 4 stoke on my old 76 20' CC Seacraft. It's heavier than the a typical 2 stoke, but the boat can handle it. I get great performance from the Yamaha. Fully loaded for fishing with 3 adults on board, I can top out at 38 mph, at cruising speed (25 mph) it burns 3 1/2 gals per hour. The 4 stoke Yamaha is the best engine I have ever had on this boat.
