Ya that is a problem starboard and 5200 don’t get along together. I did my tank like you are and instead of using starboard I went to home depo and bought a plastic type product they sell for fences slats. I had to cut is down the middle and then take the grove out if it but I knew it would work with 5200. Those strips are only used for supporting the tank above the deck so they don’t have to be sticking like a weld but on the other side they cant be sliding around on you either. The two thick beads on both sides of the strips that stick the tank to the deck is what really counts.
