Default Got this call last night...

So I got this interesting call last night. About 11:30 or so I'm out fishing off Newport with a friend and cell rings. I figured it was the wife wondering how late I was going to be on a school night. So I fumble with a fish on to dig out my cell phone, rolling in some swells with my left hand holding my surf rod (work great from a boat), thumb on the spool, butt on my left thigh, right hand digging in my pocket for the cell.

Turns out is Trayder and he was calling me back after I woke HIM up. Seems that I bumped my cell and it dialed his number. So he's sleeping, the phone rings, "conversation" coming from the answering machine has 2 people talking, noise from a VHF, then the bait clicker on a 975 ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZz inging as a small (15 pound) bass has picked up the eel and taking it's first run. He said it wasn't exactly the worst way to wake up. I thought it was hilarious (other than waking up Trayder and the missus - sorry N..... ). But it was pretty funny.

Again sorry for the late night wake up call but I want a copy of that answering machine message !!!!
