Scott...That 27 islander has some nice lines. A little carolina flair ?? I would put the yanmar turbo diesel in that and cruise all day. I love the center console boat but with the 3 kids now and my wifes aversion to the sun and my daughters fair skin ..well you know..Maybe when my sons are older and my daughter is into horses or something I can get the center..sorry to be long winded..I like that boat

I actually found the Island 27 as well, talked to them today and they are now being built in Bristol, RI by Bluefin Boats. The hull was derived off a north FL commercial boat. They are now in the process of doing one with a diesel and a jack shafted outdrive.
