Hey Nick-

I had a very interesting run home after I ran into in Mass Bay. The fog rolled in 3 miles south of Gloucester, so I made a mad dash into the harbor. Figured I would go up the annisquam and hopefully it would be nice & sunny on the other side in Ipswich Bay. Boy, was I wrong....the fog in Ipswich Bay was worse....the last 11 miles home were real hair-raising. I was really concerned when I made it to Merrimack and knew i was in the channel but could not see the jetties.

I talked to a Capt/ John Pirie about the finicky tuna yesterday. He gave me some good ideas as to how to catch them when they feeding like they were on sunday.

I was concerned about you, it was looking pretty gray in the Cape Ann area. But after my 4th beer, I was convinced that you were fine. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] Luckily no T-storms hit there.

Are you sure you were only drinking beers? It looked like you had a few shots of OUZO in you

Ha-ha...

While Nick was pounding the OUZO and the Bud Lights off the B-buoy contemplating my fate.....i was in the fog off Gloucester shitting a brick, drinking warm water and eating beef jerky and chex party mix.

Oh yeah........Noaa weather radio is about reliable as an old Ford Pinto with the exploding gas tank.

My wife had THE 1977 Pinto when we met. Believe it or not, it burned up. Now she is 1/2 owner of 2 classic SeaCrafts. Thank God she found me...
