I don't know who builds them. The only one I've ever seen is on Jose's boat. Some 3/8in Divenacell would make a great core for one. Mock it up in 1/4in lauan and make any modifactions in that. then take it apart and use it for a pattern to cut the Divenacell. Then cover that with glass. A layer of 1808 and 6oz cloth on each side would be bulletproof and still light weight.
