Default Seafari cuddy carpet question

Do you guys know- is the carpet glued to the ceiling in my cuddy stock? I had to tear some of it out today to get to some wires, and was just curious.

Any recommendations for sources to buy new carpet to replace it with? I may just leave it off for a while though....

Boat goes in the water tomorrow for the (my) first time!!!

Thats funny, I was thinking the same thing about the Seavette until I stared digging and found the original covering, which was "white gorilla hair"
You remember? The same stuff all the hippies had covering the insides of the VW buses back in the '70's??

well, not all of them. The inside of my 65 bus was bare, stripped of all the old upholstery, just like my Seafari is going to be for at least a while. The Vdub was a super bare bones camper for my super low budget rock climbing trips back in the 70s.

Those old VW busses were absolutely terrifying on the highway, especially if there was any side wind at all!

well this long retired hippy's going to be driving a Seafari, with coffee (too much) and beer (never enough) as the only mind altering substances on board, so things should be fairly safe.
