Default Re: bilge blower question

I actually was quoted Coast Guard engine room ventilation in a survey of my other boat. In it they describe that fresh air from forward facing vents should ventilate the engine room, while the blower (actually sucking air from) should be piped to the lower area of bilge and vented into aft facing vents.....or that was the jist of the instructions. My gas inboard lobster boat had it reversed, hense the long detailed instructions from the survey to fix it correctly.

Hope this helps..... are you still talking about a diesel I/O in a Tsunami?
