maybe for standing up casting off the front deck? Kind of looks like the flycasting rails showing up on some of the northeast flats flyrod boats.

That Savage does look kind of goofy though......gloveboxes???

Steve, yup. On the Tsunami/Sceptre, the starboard box is for the gauge panel and the port box is for storage. On the Savage, they are both for storage.
