Does not have to be Thanksgiving weekend for me either. I'll try to make it regardless of the date

I'm wide open as far as the date goes. As far as prizes and such, I think keeping it simple, i.e. biggest fish wins, would probably be the easiest route, what about ya'll? 7-2 sounds good for a time frame. Any other opinions welcome guys!

I agree with Doghouse - keep it simple. Should be fun and not a lot of work for anyone..

The week of Thanksgiving is a nightmare!!!! There is a couple tournaments that week. But any day in November or December can be busy depending on fishing. As far as time I think if you want to beat the crowds maybe 5:00AM- 4:00PM for those who don't mind getting up early and want to make day of it. As far as divisions only 2, heaviest fish and something for the kids. You've got to have something for the kids. I don't really have a suggestion for a ramp but i will use lynnhaven, rudee, willoughby, dont really care for cobbs but i will put out there. Only ramp I've ever been stuck on. I like the way you guys think- i am not into a lot of stress- thats why i want to keep it simple as well (simple is as simple does?lol). I like the idea of largest fish takes all and a kid division biggest fish takes all. I kinda like the 7 to 2 deal because of the darkness factor- gets light around 7 and dark at five . Too many people have problems with thanxgiving so we can rule that out. I made up a spreadsheet with boats/names etc today at work and forgot to bring it home, will do it tomorrow. as far as places to put out , i prefer lynnhaven only because i dont have a trailer and leave my boat in the water but I am game for anything. what about after tournament beer theories??? and maybe a captains mtg theory session the night before??? lol- ill check back in tomorrow and let yall know how many boats we have. looks to be 11 or 12 with the potential for at least a couple more. see ya- craig

It looks like we have around 14 boats so far From some comments Ive had so far the weekend after thanxgiving looks pretty good (how about you other guys?) Still trying to decide if top 3 fish or just 1 biggest fish wins all(another one I could use your help with) and i have received only one reply about a child/ division???Anyone else??) will post up later this week- hopefully we can finalize the details. craig

Blow Date- Dec 5th, if neither date works out then tournament is off and everyone gets their money back.
Capitans Mtg - Friday 7PM tentatively at Long Bay Pointe
Prizes are still TBD- either biggest fish or top 3 - consensus rulzs

Already took that weekend off. Looking forward to meeting some of you guys. As far a kids, probably won't be any on my boat. I can't get my daughter interested but for the ones that are there should be something I think. I think I have put the finishing touches on the boat. Got my outriggers double rigged and bought 2 new shimano tld 25's. As far as a blow date we should'nt need it. Had my boat out in that ne blow and I was really impressed with the way it handled 4-6ft seas. Now I know why you guys brag about these boats so much.
