So, we looked at a 1989 Grady White 280 Marlin that had a very attractive price (and some not too attractive glass cracks) in the bilge. I know it's something I could fix but I just kind of lost interest in it the more I thought about it. The odd thing was, I've been pressuring my wife for a bigger boat for a few years now and when I finally got the OK on one, I called it off. Go figure.....

You're killing me JW. I pass within 5 miles of your boat on my way home every day.
JW ...cant believe that hasn’t sold .... wish we allowed to store stuff like that in our yard ... I'd snatch it up !!! We need to move so I can have a yard full of boats … Oh no ...that Otto/Finster "Old boat disease" must be getting a hold on me !!

Brian ... With what sounds to be structural cracks in the hull you did the right thing ... There will be others …in better shape.

Isn’t that always the way ... the "boss" says "Ok" and then you come to reason and say "not this one" ... I think they know when your having doubt ...that’s when they say OK knowing your not going to do it...sneaky
