Default Re: Boat Transporting

I'm also curious about transport pricing. Just looking for ballpark $ since I don't have anything to transport yet. I'm looking to step up to a 23' from my 20' but selection is limited out here in CA. There's more to look at on the east coast, especially Florida, but any idea how much to get it out here? I don't really have the time to trailer it myself.

In 2001, I paid $1.00/mile to ship my 23 (with trailer = 30' long) from Stuart, FL to Rochester, NY. Today, it's more like $1.40. In your case, Tampa to LA would run you around $3,500. It would probably be cheaper if a trailer didn't have to come with it.
