Nope. I made literally hundreds of casts in one week last September on the Vineyard catching albies and not one bail closure. I throw 1-2 oz metal and no problems whatsoever. I've also got a Stradic 5000, no problems with that one either.

Scott, what kind of rods qualify? We all have different rods for different kinds of fishing. And I don't think Robin is going to get you all of them for Christmas. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]
