Hey Scott-

I was thinking today that if you add on too long of a tongue to that trailer and swap the winch post around you're really going to have tongue weight issues.

If I was you, I would do a combination retrofit.....add longer bunks that extend further back off the trailer and then add a slightly longer tongue. if you just add the longer tongue...then all of that weight is going to move up ahead of the axles which will put too much weight on the tongue, your hitch and the front axle.
