Default Difference in hull from a CC and a cuddy

This may be a stupid question, but here we go. Is there a difference in the hull from a CC to a cuddy style Seacraft? I was just wondering if you could strip a cuddy and make it a CC. Once you take the boat to the stringers it seems like you could make it the whatever way you want it.

There is no difference between hulls.

BA17,

Although the hulls are the same, the liners and caps are different, You are sugesting removing these and having to really do alot of work modifying and building what you want. If you're a fiberglass pro, no problem, but since you can sell your cuddy and buy a CC for roughly the same price, why not save yourself the work?

As for the hull no difference. The problem is replacing the cap with one that fits that would be correct for a center consol. If I were to do that project I would customize your cap to look like the Savage design. Less work and you get your CC helm.
