Default Re: Repower - 4 stroke Yamaha vs Suzuki

Heggie,

Not sure where the Suzuki knowledge is coming from on all these comments about the Suzuki 140 vs Yamaha 150, but these
are the facts. Dyno Test Suzuki 140 / 138hp , Yamaha 150 / 148hp. Any motor coming from Japan is allowed a 10%
differnce in hp +/-. And you can be sure that the 150 Suzuki will not be out of the same block as the 140. The
140 block is already used for it's little sisters the 115, 90. Buy the Suzuki you get the six year warranty, you get
a timing chain not a belt. And you save two to three years
in fuel. And don't be afraid to use Atlantic Boats, he is
the largest Suzuki dealer in the country.
