Re: Cap / Liner removed on a 23' Sceptre
I am recoring the whole top cap. The boat I am referring to is a i/o model and the cap comes off very easily, there is no engine well thats attached to the cap and molded to the deck.
These boats are in three parts: top cap, inner liner and outter hull. No foam to worry about other that whats around the fuel tank. Just grab a chain saw and go to town...... Remember, once you take it apart, you have to put it back. So think it threw before you go cutting things apart. Don't make unnessary work for your self if you don't have to.

Ebeach,
do you have to cut the cap at the motor well/rear of the boat? the one i am looking at has a motor well. looks like the well is glass onto the cap. |
