Like Nick mentions 4° to 5° seems to be the normal offset. I just looked through Consumers catalog and they had the 4° wedges and struts. There is also a top builder the molds in the same degree wedge into his hard tops. I wouldn’t think it useful to go more than that. The more you add to that angle the more the beam is going to be shooting in the water forward and in the air aft when your crawling at night or in real thick fog. These are the times you will rely on the radar the most ...when you can see the least, so I certainly wouldn't be moving that fast. At this speed the bow should be pretty flat to begin with.

Otto .. on the trailer and from the ground to the top of the light is 12’4”. Now that’s on a 42 roller trailer so its up pretty high when sitting on it ( as opposed to a bunk).
