Default Re: Another Hull ID Question

Hi Vezo,

I actually lived in Atlanta for several years (AWFUL place by the way), but used to keep my SC18' at Harkers Island up in NC. Now my SC20' lives behind the house in Stuart, Florida.

As to Garmin products, I have the 182C and 320C side by side in my 20' and am happy with both, although my after-market shoot-thru transducer had some initial hiccups (defective one that was replaced by the Airmar). I've not used the 192C, so I can't comment on that one. I have had Garmin machines in the past as well as Furuno electronics and have been very happy with both. Due to space constraints, Garmin was the way I went with the new console on the 20', there simply wasn't room for the Furuno equivalents. I didn't want the split screen effect, so I stayed away from the 188C, my feeble mind probably couldn't cope with switching back and forth
