Anyone know an approximate weight for this rig? If my truck can pull it I might be interested. I have a 2004 Toyota Tacoma Pre-Runner that can pull 6000 lbs.

My guess would be that between the engines, trailer and boat it would be right around 6,000 (give or take 500 pounds).

FYI, I have a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a class three hitch. It has 108k miles on it. According to the book I should not pull more than 5,000 pounds.

I use it to pull close to 6,000 pounds. I do not worry at all on any short journeys. I have pulled the boat 100 miles several times and it was fine. I just took my time. However, I don't think that i would use my Jeep to pull my SeaCraft from NJ to Florida.

My long winded point to you is that if you would use your current rig to pull the boat a short distance you will probably be fine.
