Well, I have been following this and I would definately be in - if I was in, but it's gonna be a while for me. Some of you may have seen my thread on my bottom problems.I think it's been the coldest May in like 60 years or something.
If I get her goin, I'll make it. Bill |

I now think we should postpone, due mostly to the uncertainty of the weather and the definite drop in water temps. I can fish on Sat June 25th but I'm working on the 26th. Just think we should wait a while until spring returns and we can enjoy it. Still your call, of course I would give you a seat on my boat. Although there is a great bass bite on in the western sound, it's all fresh chunking, some big fish. I saw a report from Westbrook and they had some cows. Do you follow CTfisherman.com? Excellent reports and discussions. I'm supposed to hit Shinnecock on my friends boat for fluke this week. He had a 12 and 9 lb doormat. Now big weakfish too, he's fired up, and I have to listen to it. Later, Jim.

I agree lets try for the 25th of June, we can always push it back again if the glacier doesn't retreat by then. I think it will give us all more time to get the boats ready and looking pretty. Hopefully Billybob will get his bottom fixed and join us. And yes I do follow CT Fisherman, that is how I found ClassicSeacraft.com.

Hey Brian, I hope to be there Sat. I may have to work Fri night and definitely Sunday day but I really want to go. I ran that missing diver case off Mystic yesterday and pushed a 14 hr watch, back on tonight... ugh. Had some problems with the trim/tilt package on the old Yammi, I have not been fishing much. Went down to Shinnecock over the weekend, a few short bass, short fluke. Anyway, I'm just going to hustle through this week and hope for the best. Let me know the address of the ramp I can use, thanks. Jim

Good Luck with the search, I feel for the family(ies) involved. I hope they find her.
I have been having problems with my VRO on my whitewater hope to have it sorted out by Sat, if not I may have to bum that ride on your boat. You can use Peir 76 boat ramp which is next to Bills Seafood near the Singing Bride in Westbrook on Route 1. Would you be launching Fri or Sat. If you need a hand let me know. My Cell phone number is 860-638-7420. Any other interest CSC guys can call in regards to Sat or during fishing on Sat if you want to meet out on the water. Regards to fluking. I went out once managed a bluefish and one skate. I think the secret this time of year is to use smaller baits. Flies and devceiver like things off the Bucktails. Feel free to call.

Hey Brian, any other replies? It's not looking good for me now. I have the night shift Friday and day shift on Sun, not the normal rotation but we had some personnel issues last week. I will try your cell phone. My boat is running and looking good too,(just jinxed myself). If you pick a working frequency on VHF, let me know that too. Jim.
