Default Flukin in June

Hello CT fishermen / SEACRAFT owners. It's June, time to Fluke. I'll try it tomorow. It looks like the meet in Westbrook has not developed. So I don't think I'll run down there. I'll fish nearer to New Haven in the morning since it's closer to my home port. I hope to see some of you out there too. PICKLED HERRING

PickledRic, if you look at the recent additions to the thread, we are going to try for the 25th of June for the get together. It was originally scedualed for today but got pushed back due to weather and slow fish reports. Although it is gourgeous out there now. Let us know how you do in the sound, my boat will be splashed this week but I am fishing on a friends boat tommorrow, we are heading for Montauk for doormats.

Sorry for the dumb question, but what is a fluke? Don't believe I have ever run across one here in Georgia.

BA17,
Fluke, also known as summer flounder. Except they have some nasty teeth along the lines of a bluefish.

All systems are GO. I have been hearing so promising local reports, I have not personally been fishing yet but I am sure all you doormat hunters have wet a line already. I think we should try for the 25th of June (SAT). If we stick with the original plan and use my dock as a meeting point it should work out. If any one needs a refresher check out the CT get together post in the gatherins section. All intersted parties chime in so I can get a boat count. Hope to see some CSC guys and boats.

PS. If anyone wants to trailer to my house the night before you can leave the boat in the water at my dock just shoot me a PM.
