Default Maiden Voyage

Our 23 straight inboard is now complete and took it out for a shakedown run early this AM before work. All I can say is holy Sh*t is this thing smooooooth! The water was calm, but there were same wakes from large boats we were able to go through and you can just tell how nice the hull is running through them with no shudder, or banging at all. I don't have any real speed numbers yet, because we're still just braking the engine in. I will post before and after pics as soon as I take some after pics.

Congrats Luke. You're gonna love the ride even better when you can run her along at a good clip.

Where do you keep it?

I first took my boat out sveeral months ago and wnet through the same great feeling. I still can't get over the number of comments I get about the boat and the reputation that they have.

She's in a town slip at the end of Falmouth Harbor. I couldn't believe how many people would hit thier buddy and point at the boat while we were heading out. The T-top that J&J Marine made us was absolutely perfect and really makes the boat that much nicer looking. I'll get some in-water picture's this weekend.
We're swinging a 3 blade prop, but i'm not sure of the pitch, I think we may end up having to play with props.

Welcome to hte inboard club Luke. You're gonna love that boat. I looked at it in Cohasset.

What did you re-power with? I'm also interested in the wheel and resulting performance.
