Last week I bought my second boat and my first SeaCraft. It's a 1979 20' SeaFari and I'm amazed how solid the boat is for it's age. The more time I spend working on it, cosmetically that is, the more impressed I am by it's craftsmanship. All fiberglass in the 70's, now thats unheard of. Anyway I wanted to introduce myself, Dave from Tampa, FL and I'll start posting a few pics soon of my progress. I excited about this boat and I plan on making it a real beauty.

Welcome GB! I have a 1970 Seafari I/O and am very happy with it. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I'm enjoying mine. You did mention "all fiberglass", I thought all these boats had wood in the transom, maybe they changed from 1970 to 1979.

Yes, they do have a wood transom, but the rest is fiberglass and thats still really impresive.
