I have twin 1998 Yamahas on a 23 SF.

I am probably averaging somewhere between 1.5 and 2 miles per gallon (if 2).

If I had a single 225 or 250 carb engine I would proabably average 2 to 2.5. Just a guess.

Another thing to consider, two engines = twice the weight in the rear. I only bring it up because I feel it when I am drifting in heavy seas and the stern is getting hit by waves.
