PF can you post a link to THT. Let's be positive if this announcement is true. We all want SC to build a quality defect free product and stand behind it. There is no better place than the SKA as a proving grounds. If the SKA can break it they will.

It will need to be rated for twin 200's and hold 50 gallons of bait if it is to be competative.

Yep SKA has the rules saying 23.5ft on the waterline, not LOA.

If it is based on the 25'er it will dwarf the 23T Contender on fishing room. I've had mine head to head with the 23T Contender and you really couldn't tell the Contender was a 25' boat compared to the 25'SeaCraft. It was narrower and the gunnels were lower....Contender also puts wide gunnel caps on their boats and it really eats up the fishing room!

Hey guys I run the 23 Pro Angler for SeaCraft. It is merely a 25 but we are putting an options package together for the boat to be sold as is from the factory for SKA guys.

The SKA rule states the vessels waterline must be less that 23 feet 11 inches and marketed as such.

The factory is very interested in getting involved with the the SKA and bettering their public image. I am the third team of four to recieve and fish our boat.

I can tell you already that we have a lot of input as to changes and modifications to existing hulls for a better product. We work very closely and communicate often with the head engineer.

SeaCraft has a lot of new things in the works that I am pretty excited about and I am sure you guys will too. I Don't think I am allowed to divulge details yet but good things are coming. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask anytime.

Jack

HeHe That's why they call it SKA [Southern Kingfish Assoc.] unstead of NKA [Northern Kingfish Assoc.]

You know, I have been scratching my head about this type of advertising movement going on in the fishing industry lately. We are seeing boats that have those advertising plastic rapping on them now, guys dressing like the Bobsy twins, acting like a bunch of jerks when they catch a fish and even worse if they miss one. Just a couple of months ago I was watching TV and turned to a bass tournament. Well the two announcers were warring Tie’s and Sports Coats. What’s Up With That??? Has fishing gone Hollywood??? I thought it was about getting up early jumping in a boat catching some fish drinking a beer or two having a lot of fun with a few close friends and then coming home and eating your catch??? I must be getting old.
