Hello Everyone, I'm new to the forum, and I must say this is an excellent web site. Its very informative and educational, it has been a HUGE help so far. Anyways, I guess I'm looking for some tips, comments and/or concerns about a boat I'm looking at. Its a 77 20' SeaCraft CC w/ a 1990 150HP Evinrude. The motor was completely rebuilt about 2 years ago and the tilt motor was replace a year ago. He also put in a new SS gas tank and just had the bottom repainted. I haven't seen the boat yet, but have talked to the seller. I asked about the transom and floor, he said that there are no soft spots anywhere that he knows of. From what is sounds like to me, the boat is in pretty good condition. I have been reading previous post and the classifieds to get a feel for what to look for and value vs. condition. Besides soft spots and cracks, are there any other ways to notice problems with the transom or stringers? The seller says he uses the boat weekly, and just last week was about 15 miles offshore with it. It also comes with a tandem float-on trailer that looks to be in very good condition. I know more info is probably needed, but what price would you expect to see on this boat? Any tips, comments or things to ask would be greatly apprietiated. I'm going to try and post a picture he sent me, so maybe that will help. Thanks in advance!
