1976 seacraft 20, $6000
I regretfully am going to sell my 20 Seacraft. It is a turnkey boat that can be enjoyed with no work needed. The hull is solid and it has the original gelcoat. The bottom was painted blue by the previous owner. The floors are solid and the transom appears to be fine (its not cracked and doesn't flex more than it should). I am the third owner. The first owner used it as a tender, so it has a white rub rail installed. The second owner was an avid fisherman and meticulously maintained the boat and engine. During his tenure (15 years), the boat was stored inside when not in the water. I have had the boat for nearly two years, and have enjoyed it alot. I have only put on about 40 hours, and I have had it serviced at precision marine off south dixie hwy. The description reads:
-86 Merc 150 with 740 hours. Well maintained with good compression. Starts on first crank every time. New water pump and new trim/tilt. Hydraulic steering. -Aluminum T-top with electronics box, halogen floodlights, and rocket launchers -Electrical 100% redone in 1995. New dual batteries. EVERYTHING electrical works on this boat (except the gps unit). Some guages look a bit worn, but they all work. Humming depth finder and new two way radio (never used). -New oversized gas tank installed in 1995 -Custom stereo installed less than two years ago. CD, 180 watts, 4 speakers -Custom boat cover made to fit with T-top. It has seen less than 6 months of sun. I spent $800 on this sucker. -Pompanette cooler seat with reversible recliner. Cushion recovered when I got the boat cover made. -aluminum trailer in good shape. i just towed the boat from miami to flamingo and back with no problem. I dry store the boat, so it has only seen salt water a couple of times since I've had it. -full windshield -ss prop -spare Evinrude kicker motor and stainless bracket included. The kicker works fine, but has a broken handle -my birthday is in july, and i just re-registered the boat, so registration is paid for the next 12 months This is a solid great boat that you could jump in and enjoy today. It doesn't need to be restored, just used and enjoyed. Please feel free to email or call me with questions. My phone number is 305-992-2717. I dont know how to post pics, so if anyone can post them for me it would be greatly apprecaited. I can email them at anytime. Thanks, Drew. |

Re: 1976 seacraft 20, $6000
Interested in the boat - send as many pics as possible to RSaunders@ThomasLHunter.com. If you would be kind enough to send as many pictures of the boat at all angles and showing as much as possible it would be appreciated. How long is the shaft on the motor? Have you ever had the boat surveyed? Had the motor surveyed? Do you know the compression numbers of the cylanders? Why are you selling? New tank - how big? What kind of electonics? When you say the wiring was completely re-done - did you do it or do you know who did it? ie. the previous owner or was it a shop? Have you, or had any one, done any work to the boat?

Sold!! Thanks Dave. You ended up with a nice and reliable boat. Also, thanks "trayder" for this site. It was great to sell the Seacraft without having to deal with the boat trader. When I buy my next boat in a few years, this site will be the first place I look!! Drew.
