First a new SS rubrail. I would never ever ever ever put anything different on a 23 SC. It looks awesome!  OHHH THAT CLASSIC SEACRAFT TRANSOM. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]  Pleanty of room for several fisherman to haul a couple big 'uns up onto the deck. I will be adding my leaning post as soon as I spray dye the vinyl.  Added 3 new rodholders across the transom for trolling etc and two up on the bow for live baiting Tarpon or Sailfish.  EVERY fly fisherman/woman needs pop up hardware. I went with 4 1/2 inch accon spring cleats as well as Accon hardware up front. One 10"(remember my "is 10 inches too big?" post? Well here I have one mounted along with Accon pop up chocks and a light. For those interested, I have one left over 10" cleat for sale.  Everything in the business end of the boat looks neat and clean.

Here is a close up of the interior transom. Cockpit bolsters all the way around to be added in about a month.
They will be a synthetic core and be fashioned like a Boston Whaler---pleated and about 3" thick.  Looking good when I picked it up. That sky blue Awlgrip went on like totally smooth.   Ready to be splashed!!!! What good is living in Florida unless you live in a Mansion on the water? ( [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]) Hopefully the little Volvo turbo motor can handle it. [img]/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img]

Cant wait to use the new HermCo bracket and see how the twin 150 Yamaha's will do. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

The "holes" you see in the transom are the washers that hold the bracket on. There are also a few under the deck.
The bracket was made by Mattson in St. Pete or Tampa. It was powercoated----something I would not go with again. Awlgrip is much tougher. I run twin 115hp Suzuki 4 strokes.

Anybody interested in the phone # of the guy that did the work PM me. 3 months in my book is a little on the slow side but I wasn't bugging them everyday either. They did excellent work and the 1 or 2 little flaws(very minor stuff and I'm super picky) I did find they fixed without hesitation.
PS I'm on the West Coast of Florida.
