Default 1979 20 MA original console

Has anyone added a T-top with this (very large) console? Have an opportunity to add a top but can't imagine walking around the forward legs, with a fair sized fish on. Probably a real debacle to try and custom build through the console, maybe even easier to downsize to Mark's custom Wildfire Marine, but not really looking to replace. Have not taken the measurements yet, but wondering if anyone is familiar, or has any comments before I pull the trigger. Also, what type of mods will be required to anchor this "sail" to the stringers, or will I have major work strengthening the deck? Thanks. Vezo, Part II.

Vezo, That console is big, I replaced mine with the small console from Birdsall and it seems to be more conducive for a ttop ( about 6 inches narrower). If you stay with the original console maybe you can go with a ttop attached to the console instead of going all the way to the floor, but make sure the console is going to handle the additional stress.
