Boat Transport within Mass...
I've been a long time lurker and appreciate the content on this site. I just bought a project boat, but not a SeaCraft, so I hope this is appropriate. The boat is a Hiliner, so I like to think they're in the same class.
Anyway, I'm trying to find a cost-effective method of getting the boat from Hudson Ma to Mansfield Ma - about 40 miles one way. I have a capable tow vehicle, but the boat is on stands and I'm not ready to buy a trailer. I'd be will to rent a trailer or pay someone to help in another capacity. I may end up having it hauled, and I've had quotes ranging from $300-$475. Any suggestions are welcome and I hope to use this site for more information once my rebuild begins. Thanks, Ray raymondgreco@hotmail.com |

Re: Boat Transport within Mass...
Hi Ray,
I conversed with you over on FFSW about the sweet deal you got on the Hiliner. Sorry I can't help you with transport, but once you get into the resto project, you'll find a ton of useful info on this board (not necessarily SeaCraft-related). A lot of the members here really know their stuff when it comes to glass work. Welcome to the site and good luck with the boat. |

I posted this for Ray on another board, so hopefully he doesn't mind me doing so here.

Thanks Scott! I should have it here within a week or so, so I'll get some better shots. I may cover it until the spring though... Ray
