Default Re: Not a seacraft but what are the opinions.....

My girlfriends father has one and to be honest I was very suprised by the ride of the boat. I am not impressed with the finish of the boat but you get what you pay for. He has a 200 carb merc and it will clock up to 42-43 knots. I have to say we made the mad dash to nantucket a few times in 3-5 footers and boat did beautifully. If I was in my privateer I would have had to go at 12 knots and kidneys would have been in my shoes. I love the privateer it is a tank and a great platform to fish off of but a bit hard on the kidneys and knees on the way in or out. But for 17 with t-top gps and roller trailer it is hard toi beat I think. Still looking for the seacraft but the new boat does have its benefits.
