Default update on my 20

I finally had time to start on the boat today. I ripped out the teak floor, console, and did a few other little things. The deck underneath the teak strips feels like a sponge when stepping on it. Also, the transom is cut out at 20 but has the plate up to a 25...it has a 5 inch gap with nothing in between.

The trash pile building up

Tomorrow morning the rubrail will come off along with the rest of the wires, steering cable, control cables, etc...

Thanks for sharing the pictures.

I have a feeling the deck is soft due to the fasteners from the teak allowing water into the original deck?

great documentation

Luis, don't forget to offer spare parts to other CSC members before you discard them. One mans garbage is another mans gold.-PF

Well if anybody wants the rubrail or the flipping backrest cooler seat let me know. The cooler seat is missing the top...it was rotted. It's hear in Big Pine and welcome for people to come pick up...just let me know. As for right now, I am planning on keeping the console and fixing it back up. Nothing else is really worth saving on the boat...maybe just the transom plate so if anybody wants to lay claim to that.

I still have the flip seat. Edit on my earlier post...I meant to type "here" instead of "hear" in referring to the location of the stuff.

do you have any pics of the boat with the teak floor in. I bet in its day, it looked pretty nice. I've been thinking about putting a flexi teak floor on mine cause i luve the look of it.

This is the only picture of the teak floor that I have. I'm not the original owner...heck this boat was built about 7 years before I was born. I'm sure that it was a good looking boat back in her prime.
