Choice for Washdown Pump
Just had to remove my salt water washdown pump today after 2 seasons. So what pump does everyone recommend?

Re: Choice for Washdown Pump
Hey Rich
I have a Blaster Pro by Shurflo. Works great with a Hydra Coil hose 45 P.S.I. Self contained automatic shut-off switch. 12V 3.4 GPM You might want to check with "Yacht Jim" at BOE for a deal... capt_chuck

Re: Choice for Washdown Pump
I have the (2) of same pumps Chuck posted. One is 12 years old and the other is 3. Seem to work OK not too great on pressure but they work.

Re: Choice for Washdown Pump
I have also had good luck with those surflow blasters. I have had several on my boats without any problems. I also had them on my vet trucks and they get used all day every day without having to replace on that I can remember.

I'll even it out
Have always had good luck with Jabsco ... Par max 4 has good pressure also. I think Jabsco has just come out with a bigger pump for washdown with higher flow and pressure. |

Re: Choice for Washdown Pump
Chuck ; I had the same pump and it only lasted a year. Guess I got a lemon. I'll troubleshoot it this weekend and try to determine if I should rebuild or replace. I have the feeling they are not making them like they use to. Rich
