Default Observation

I'm relatively new here, but the best thing about the site is the tone. My buddy just listed his Mako on that other clasic site and is being harassed by members about price, post, motors-you name it. And it's a nice boat!
I'm glad I'm in this family.

Be careful. There are plenty of good guys on both sites. Some guys here post there and vice versa. There was a small, small incident a few weeks ago, comenting about us on the other site.

Which one was that? The guy trying to sell the crappy boat or the other one saying we're a bunch of unfriendly a-hole's?

BTW Oldfielder, welcome aboard.

Not making any generalizations about the site itself-just an observation about the treatment of a fellow boater. I always think it's uncalled for when people jump in and start trying to undermine an ad-especially when a guy is about to own two boats ( even though I know there are plenty of guys on this site with the multiple boat sickness).

Finster,

"....guy trying to sell the crappy boat....".
You mean the one I bought? Who made you quality control manager?
