Res - The laser II is a nice prop, but I'm pretty sure you mean MPH and not knots. There's no way you're hitting 54mph pushing a 23ft Seacraft with a single 3.0L merc 225.

I would not believe it either! However, I have no t-top, no bottom paint, and removed excess weight from the transom(Livewell, storage boxes) Plus that is a storng 225. Check out this site it dyno the 225 efi and 225vmax http://www.boatsetup.com/Merc30225Dyno.html My buddy has a 23 with a 225 zuki 4stroke and we were running from a storm and he could not keep up. I will get some pics up of the boat. It is still middle of a rebuild but useable.

I was just rereading my old post above. I misquoted, I get 5300-5400 RPM w/14 X 17 prop. Sorry about that.
