Default BIG SPLASH!

Well today we finally got to take out the 73 SF. i was suprised to see 3 other seacraft 20's at the dock this morning. after being sold out by my boating buddy for my maiden voyage we decided lets go for it anyway. we idled out the black point channel and gave the 85 evinrude 150 some gas. much to our suprise the boat went right up on plane. turning 5000 rpms i was running about 35-36 MPH on gps. big suprise there considering motor having 88-90 psi in all cylinders. cruise is about 4k doing about 29-30 on gps. cruised all over the bay and after gaining confidence in the engine my dad decided to show me cesars creek and how to get through. next we ran almost back to the black point channel and headed north towards matheson hammock. only got to the old cutler power plant and turned back. all in all we had and excellent day on the 73 SF. anytime some one wants to go out on the weekends at matheson or black point send me a PM and i will be there.
i still need to get some pics. but i havent forgotten about it .
