Contender vs. SeaCraft on THT

I have a friend that's a serious Tuna fishermen. He had a brand new Contender and sold it and reconditioned a 23 seacraft for serious Tuna fishing offshore on Cape Cod. Now I've never owned a Contender and understand their great boats, but the guys that are serious about fishing around here, with or without the money to lay down for a new boat seem to go with a Seacraft if they can get their hand on one!
