Finished the mounting locations for bilge pump #1 and bilge pump #2/auto switch and the new to the boat raw water pickup/seacock. I should have waited to paint the bilge.. now I am enjoying sanding/grinding the new paint off for these additions..
![]() I am tinting the final coat of epoxy resin white in the bilge area.. The big hole at bottom right of the 1st pic is for the B-60 txducer. ![]() ![]() Installed drains in the main stringers (aka Limbers).. 1/2 inch PVC - ![]()

Fishjack,
What type of fairing compound did you use? How did it work out? Thanks -andrew |

Andrew - Using "QuickFair" by System Three - works great.
It's a two part epoxy based fairing compound with microballons. Cures pretty quick. You can sand and re-apply in about 6hrs. I still have more fairing to do. I am working on getting the transom cap in place then finish the transom fairing.

Fishjack,
When you are done fairing, how thick do you think the Quick Fair will be, and do you plan on overlaying it with anything to guard against skim coat cracking? |
