Bluewater-

I have a 1983 23' SC CC with a 2003 Evinrude 225hp. I have a 14.75 x 19 stainless three bladed Viper on there now. I tuurn up about 5600 and get 34 kts WOT and 4500 gets me about 27 kts. I am disappointed with this.....

I want to go to a 17" four blade Renegade stainless as I have read this is the idea prop for this engine with boats our size.

I would look into that one.

Hooper...
Thanx for that advice, I heard that a 17" pitch would be the best one.
