I am getting a trailer for my 23 inboard seacraft, but it is in FL and i am in NY at the moment. I do not have anybody down there to take the measurements i need. Does anybody have:
1. Bottom of transom to lowest part of skeg or prop. 2. Distance from back of transom to where the prop shaft exits the hull Thanks in advance!!! |

Good Morning, I happen to have mine on the trailer still since I just got done with installing new gas tank's.
I can get these measurement for you. Give me a call and I can take any this evening that you need (work 757-396-4992 ask for Gary, home 757-488-3887 (leave a message and I'll call right back usually home around 4:30). I'm in Portsmouth Va, and I do have a INBOARD (76). I have a 6000 lb trailer and if I did it again I would get the 7000 lb for the longer tongure and a little more heavy duty. Mine has a curved back bar on the trailer and has plenty of clearance.

I am looking at getting a 8700#, dual axle, does this seem like overkill or is it a smart idea? i will be doing alot of distance trailering.
