Default Factory Option Swim Ladder

I am looking at a 1970 20CC; the left side of the transom is lower that the right side (by what looks like 8"-10"). The seller says it's a factory option for a swim ladder. Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks

Get a picture. I highly doubt its original, I've never see anything like that.

It must have been cut to make it Handicap accessible.
