I'm getting 2.8mpg at 3400 rpm and 25 mph. I get 2.5mpg at 4000 rpm and 30mph. This is on a 23 SF with T Top and enclosure. What are you getting with the carbed motor. Fuel mileage is from Navman 3100.

stoney, I'm getting 2.2 - 2.3 MPG. This is at 30 MPH 4500-4600 RPM. For comparison purposes I feel that the Sceptre is a little heavier than the center console boats so this might make up for the differences in MPG. My top speed is around 39-40 MPH @ 5500 RPM.

On an older boat, I switched from a 225 carbed Yammie to a 225 OX66 yammie ('95 to a '99) I got about 18% - 21% better fuel economy - had pretty accurate fuel management guage.....Then, the hpdi is a lot better than that.
