For the main feed wire going foward, it should come off the house battery with a short lead [12in or less] and hook to a proper size breaker. I like the bulkhead mounted one's by Blue Sea's.
Then it will go foward to your Buss bar or the buss bar on the fuse panel, which will fuse the indidual circuit's. By going from the house battery you eliminate the problem of spiking the electronic's when cranking the motor. Blue Sea's has a nice new combiner out now to charge both starting and house batteries. http://www.bluesea.com/product.asp?P...1=7458&l2=7458 |
