1988 24' WA Seacraft?

Thanks guys! I looked up the NADA price on the 2005 Suzuki 115s and came up with around $11,600 to $13,600 for the pair. That would put the hull w/ tower, on the trailer, at 11K to 13K. The broker told me that the deck and transom were both sound and that the trailer was in good shape (to me, the trailer doesn't look that great in the photos...). (This is also the broker who told me that it would cost around $3 a mile to get the boat hauled to Cape Cod...

Do any of you Seacraft Pros (guys who have followed the ins and outs of used SC hulls for many years) have any opinions on the "value" of that 1988 hull? From what I've read over the years, I recall that the early Potter hulls were built like tanks and that they are the ones that everyone still wants. I also recall reading (I think) that there were some "bad" production years, quality wise, when Tracker was putting out Seacrafts. (exact same hull design, but with inferior workmanship and/or materials). Any truth to this? Any other input? Anyone on this board know someone who lives on the Gulf in Alabama who might be willing to give his boat a "look-see" for me?

I realize that I'm a new guy to this board who is asking for a lot of help, but I have to start somewhere. Any input will be greatly appreciated!

first one like that i have ever seen-looks to me like you are riding right up on the bow-personally i think that walk around design sucks- its tough to walk around and it takes up space you would gain by making it strickly a cuddy or a center console. im just not a fan of walk-arounds, my opinion. ill be willing to bet that she rolls "alot" when at anchor or drift with that tower(although she sure looks nice!)- but the owner might not have had any intentions of doing any type of fishing other than trolling, etc. still not a bad looking ride by any means, its just not my cup-o-tea,lol- craig

In mid 1988, Tracker SeaCraft began using fiberglass-encapsulated plywood for stringers in their boats. I'm not kidding! The 23'WA (it was never called a 24' by Tracker) is actually a fairly efficient use of space. I think a hull price of $4k-5k is a much more reasonable price. Truth be told, though, I wouldn't pay that much for it, where I would for a Potter-built Tsunami or Sceptre, or even better (drool) a 23' Savage.

My paperwork on my 1989 23WA Seacraft says the center line measurement is 23'5". I don't think much of the tower since I would not anyuse for it. I would think that the tower would make it top heavy.
I think the previous post on hull value of 4-5k is a bad dream. NUFF SAID
